There's some probability that the Noah's ark was found in the mountains of Ararat, at ~2100 m high.

In fact, a geological structure, with the appearance of a ship, was found 29 km south of Mount Ararat, but still in the Ararat mountains. It has exactly the same dimensions, as those described in the bible, for the ark: 50 cubits large and 300 cubits long (1 cubit ≃ 45 cm).

This geological structure is now rock and not wood anymore. This can be explained, since, after more than 4000 years time, the ark could have been petrified.

Some argue that is not the Ark, but only a geological structure (a rock).

According to St. Hildegard (Germany), it didn't rain before the flood... there was water on the ground, (relatively small) water courses, but no rain...

That's maybe one reason more why almost nobody believed in the coming of the great Flood... to be compared with the present times, where not so many people believe that the Apocalypse can come one day, unexpectedly...

However, in the book of Enoch I (the Enoch of Gen 5:18, who lived before the Great Flood), it's mentioned the occurrence of rain and thunders / lightnings... a contradiction?

Not necessarily. It generally didn't rain, in most of the planet. But it could rain.

Before the great Flood, the rotation of the Earth (around its axis) didn't happen yet: the book of Enoch I says us that, at the time of Enoch, the Moon and the Sun turned around the Earth...

Thus, the rotation of the Earth, around its axis, was not needed, in order produce the phenomena 'day and night (in 24 hours)' or 'Moon cycle (in 28 days)'.

Thus, the Earth didn't rotate around its axis, as it happens now, and as such, the depressions remained relatively stationaries (they didn't "move", "spontaneously", to East)...

Thus, less places on Earth received rain... but the phenomena of the rainfall and the thundershower were already known from the Enoch of the book of Genesis...

How Is It Possible To 1.7 Million Species to Enter in the Ark?

Biologists discovered already about 1.7 million different species of animals and plants... even more may be still discovered...

However, from these 1.7 million, about 1.2 million are insects or closer species; about 400.000 are plants or closer species...

We exclude, for this simulation, the animals of type 'fish', 'mollusks', 'crustaceans' and also most of the plants (except some seeds, specially those used in agriculture).

The 1.2 million species of insects, worms and closer species, can easily enter in a space, with a size of a living room, because they're small...

Indeed, we only have to consider, mainly, the ground mammals, the ground reptiles, the amphibians and the birds, which gives approximately 33.500 different species: some 5.500 mammals, some 10.500 birds, some 7.500 amphibians plus some 10.000 reptiles (to put in couples)...

Although some species are big, most seem to be relatively small, being, the average mammal, of a size of a small dog...

The birds and the amphibians are, normally, smaller than the mammals, and the reptiles, occupy normally, more or less the same volume as the mammals, even if their shape is not the same anymore (because there are greater reptiles also, as the crocodiles and the snakes, with greater and / or bizarre dimensions)...

Normally, they should be able to enter in the Ark... let us simulate this...

Assuming the ark has dimensions: ~140 m length, ~23 m wide and ~14 m high (1 cubit being ~0.46 m)... the space required for the animals, the plants, the food and the seeds should have been of some 11.000 cubic meters, from the theoretical ~24.000 cubic meters of the Ark, according to the following simulation...

In order to have a first idea, we could approach the Volume of the Ark to that of a triangular prism (and increase slightly that volume, because the volume of a boat shall be slightly greater than that of the corresponding equivalent triangular prism), given by:

(~140 m x ~23 m x ~14 m)/2 = ~24.000 m³,

Approaching:

1. The volume of the average mammal and of the average reptile, to the volume of a bounding box of:
   ~0,4 m × ~0,3 m × ~0,2 m = ~0,024 m³,
2. The volume of the bounding box, for the average bird, to:
   ~0,15 m × ~0,15 m × ~0,15 m = ~0,003 m³,
3. And the volume of the bounding box, for the average amphibian, to:
   ~0,15 m × ~0,10 m × ~0,10 m = ~0,002 m³,

We should still add some 10% extra Volume, because the previous calculus didn't take into account the extinct species, which entered in the Ark, but do not exist anymore.

The total basic average space for the animals should be of ~1050 m³.

However, twice of this size should still be required, in order to have enough space to feed the animals and to let them move a bit, for more comfort...

Thus, some 2.500 m³ of the ~24.000 m³ of the Ark, should have been occupied with the animals.

We could still add some extra ~8500 m³ for food, for seeds, for plants, for the halls...

Thus, some 11.000 m³ of the ~24.000 m³ of the Ark, should have been occupied with the animals, plants, seeds and food supply.

Anyhow, it should have been enough... and it was. And according to this simulation, it should have been possible also.

The Universal Great Flood, which covered the whole earth, by ~2500 BC, supplied a huge amount of water.

In the book of Genesis, we learn that Noah went out of the Ark, when the waters already fell down a lot, near the mountain of Ararat (up to 5137 meters high, source: e.g., Wikipedia).

Possibly, the waters had risen enough over the entire surface of the planet, having been able to completely submerge even the Mount Aconcagua, in the Andes, South America, which is about 7 km high (reference: e.g., Wikipedia)...

With the altitude, the temperature decreases by about 6.5° C, for every 1000 m. On sunny days, temperatures can drop by up to 10°C with the altitude, for every 1000 m. Thus, the top of the Mount Ararat is covered with perpetual snow. With the rains / snows of the great universal flood, the waters rose permanently over the entire earth and, as a consequence, the temperatures outside the ark dropped continually.

When the water level approached 7 km high, temperatures were already glacial. It was time to stop the torrential snows, for the comfort of the inhabitants of the ark, even if few less appropriate people could still survive, in the ices of the top of the Everest. The great Flood supplied, thus, a great amount of water / snow...

What happened, thus, to that enormous amount of water, when the planet became dry again?

Although a part of the water could have gone to the underground or could have evaporated to the atmosphere, we could also take into account that it's possible, through the laws of the physics / chemistry, to transform energy into matter, a kind of matter into another kind of matter, and matter into energy.

The procedures are still quite complex to man, but quite easy to God...

E. g., nuclear reactions could have been used or either the formula,

Energy = Matter + Antimatter.

I think that the ancient peoples (the ancient natives), came to Australia, after the great Flood, first, by land (e. g., using Horse-drawn vehicles or similar) up to Indonesia, and afterwards, with ships, up to the Northern Coast from Australia.

We can observe this, looking to a map of migrations, based on Y haplogroups, taking also into account the grey (land) regions (extended available continental surface from the time).

Correction: the Map of Migrations based on Y Haplogroups shows that, most of the path, between the Middle East, up to North Australia, shall have happened by sea, but near the concerned coasts...

Please note, that, at the time, after the Great Flood, in the beginning, the lost continents were still there, and, as such, the continental surface was much wider, because of that. This image is not perfect, but it's useful, in order to complement the geography of the previous map...

Great ships existed already, some 4.000 years ago, e. g., the Ark of Noah, thus, this is possible. All the other possibilities: teleportation, witchcraft, miracle, submarine, plane, etc., are less probable...

In the same way that the Ark contained food and animals, the natives could have carried with them animals, food, etc.; thus, the kangaroos, probably, came also with the natives...

It's not probable that they took the plane or they swam from the Ararat, etc. The Australian natives are there and their ancestors, were, in the beginning, in the Ararat...

This is possible, even with the "primitive" technology of ~4.000 years ago...

People began to spread, in the world, after the great Flood, and they could have taken with them animals, etc.

Thus, they could, afterwards, have left several species of animals (and plants / seeds) free, in the nature...

In the Middle East, some animals, like the kangaroo, were maybe not welcome, because they could jump and, thus, destroy the agricultural crops... some "natural selection" could, thus, have taken place...

In Australia, a continent with an aggressive climate (in most regions), most of it was scarcely inhabited, thus, the natives could have left, there, some kangaroos free, in the wild space...

There, they wouldn't attack the agricultural crops, thus, the situation was not the same anymore, as in the Middle East and in other agricultural regions of the world...

Although this is non proofed, it matches with the facts and it's probably what happened...

This may explain also, together with the climate sensibility, why some plants / animals are predominant, in some regions of the world, and are relatively rare in other ones...

The mountainous region of Ararat, in Eastern Turkey, and the neighboring regions, have almost all temperatures (climates) of the Earth, namely temperate, cold, and even very cold temperatures...

Not very far from the Ararat, in Mesopotamia, Arabia, Egypt, ..., the temperatures can already become very hot, e. g., in the summer...

Thus, in the beginning, some (exotic) animals and plants (seeds) could have survived there, in the Ararat neighborhood, in conditions / climates appropriate for their existence...

I try to pray for the protection of all the pro-God people of the planet, until 00:00h, to try to disinfest, but it's better to complement it with 24h protective prayer, e.g., the Rosary or the daily Rosary 2× (better: prayed attentively, under the required conditions, to get a plenary indulgence).
